ICP Electronics ACT-08A intelligent access control terminal
The ACT-08A is an 8.4″ SVGA ultra low power intelligent access control terminal with a 1.6 GHz Atom processor.
It is an intelligent all-in-one access control terminal that reads both MIFARE and EM tags and transponders. This fanless panel PC is based on the low-power, low-heat x86 910GMLE and 945GSE chipsets.
The x86-based architecture is more flexible than traditional RISC-based control terminals. This allows system developers to customise the ACT-08A by integrating their own software with the ACT-08A making it suitable for application-specific tasks such as time attendance monitoring, access control and/or prepaid card software for door access, cashless payment for car parks or parking access control.
