ICP Electronics Australia has launched the ICP DAS I-9054P, a versatile module designed to meet the needs of industrial environments. With 8 channels dedicated to digital input and another 8 for digital output, this device provides comprehensive monitoring and control. The digital input channels are compatible with both dry and wet contact, boasting a reach of up to 500 metres for dry contact. This makes the module suitable for a range of applications where remote sensing is required.

The module’s digital output channels come equipped with Photocouple isolation, for enhanced safety. Additionally, each channel supports sink-type output using an open collector, making it adaptable to various types of digital equipment and devices. A total of 16 LED indicators have also been integrated into the module, allowing users to quickly monitor the status of each digital input and output channel.

Furthermore, to withstand the challenges posed by industrial settings, the module offers 4 kV ESD protection. This, combined with its 3750 VDC intramodule isolation, facilitates noise immunity, making the I-9054P a suitable choice for industrial digital IO applications.
