ICP Electronics ISC-4110U/8110U industrial media converter series
ICP Electronics has launched the ISC-4110U/8110U industrial media converter series. The 4110U offers USB to 4x RS232 serial ports, while the 8110U features USB to 8x RS232 serial ports.
The series is a space-saving, ultra-low power consumption compact smart device that enables the users to connect to a PC USB port or USB hub via the USB port, offering high-speed RS232 serial port capability. They feature easy connectivity for traditional serial devices.
The RS232 standard supports full-duplex communication and handshaking signals (such as RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR). Internal high-speed transient suppressors on each data line protect the modules from dangerous voltage levels or spikes.
In addition, they can deliver power from the USB port or redundant power supply.
The series is DIN rail and panel mount enabled.
