IEI Technology has introduced the ECN-581A series, including the ECN-581A-QM57 dual DVI display multimedia box and the ECN-581A-R10-D5251 and ECN-581A-R10-HM551 embedded compact chassis for the NANO series. The QM57 delivers enhanced visual performance with its new-generation Intel Core i5-520M mobile processor and mobile Intel QM57 Express Chipset.
The QM57 has a high-performance graphics engine with full AVC, VC-1 and MPEG2 decoding acceleration as well as 1080p HD digital output for large-sized displays, making it suitable for digital signage.
The dual-display feature is achieved through the dual DVI interfaces.
It also includes One Key recovery software that makes it easy to create full system backup on demand and system restoration to a previously made backup with a single click.
The company is also launching an embedded compact chassis series for Intel HM55 and D525 single board computing solutions. The ECN-581A-R10-HM551 supports SBCs with socket G1 for Intel 32 nm mobile processor, dual-display via VGA and HDMI interfaces and one 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM SDRAM socket with up to 4 GB support.
The ECN-581A-R10-D5251 supports SBCs with 1.8 GHz Atom D525 processor with 1 MB L2 cache and up to 4 GB DDR3 SO-DIMM SDRAM support.
