International Rectifier IRS2052M 2-channel class D audio driver IC
The IRS2052M 2-channel class D audio IC for home theatre systems and car audio amplifiers has been released.
The 200 V device integrates two channels into a single IC. Features include selectable deadtime and programmable bidirectional overcurrent protection, integrated clock oscillator and click-less start and stop.
The IC is optimised to work with the company’s range of digital audio MOSFETs addressing output power from 50 to 300 W to reduce component count and PCB space while achieving improved performance, efficiency, THD and EMI.
