In order to bring greater speeds, a larger number of devices connected at once and better communications efficiency, next-generation Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) has been developed. But short-range, latency-sensitive devices that use wireless Wi-Fi RF chipsets will require proper filtering for optimum FCC/ETSI compliance in a small footprint.

As a solution to this, Johanson has released its ceramic SMT bandpass filter using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC), allowing HiQ-type L/Cs to be packed into a monolithic device. The filter has a passband of 5925–7125 MHz while rejecting other interfering bands.
