KEMET high-voltage, multilayer ceramic capacitors

Tuesday, 16 August, 2011 | Supplied by: Ampec Technologies Pty Ltd

KEMET has introduced its motor vehicle-grade, high-voltage, multilayer ceramic capacitors. Qualified to the Automotive Electronics Council’s AEC-Q200 standard, these surface mount devices are available in X7R and C0G dielectrics from 500 to 3000 VDC and with values ranging from 10 pF to 0.27 µF.

The high voltage AEC-Q200 X7R dielectric is also available with the option of the company’s flexible termination system. Designed to reduce ceramic chip failures, this technology directs circuit board stress away from the ceramic body and into the termination area, lowering the risk of mechanical damage to the component.
