Kontron Embedded Box PC CB 752

The Embedded Box PC CB 752 is now available for ambient temperatures from -15 to +60 °C.

The electronics are equipped with robust specified components and the whole system was fully tested in the climate chamber.

The improved temperature tolerance makes it suitable for demanding applications in transport, automation, medical, POS and digital signage, as well as in many other unheated and non-air-conditioned environments that do not necessarily require the industrial temperature range (E2) -40 to +85°C.

The energy-efficient PC features a fanless design in a rugged aluminium chassis for high MTBF (mean time between failures) specified at about 100,000 hours, which corresponds to continuous operation of about 11 years (24/7).

In addition to standard PC interfaces, it has interfaces such as RS232, RS422/485, digital I/Os, an optional CAN interface and two gigabit ethernet interfaces. For wireless communication, the PC is also available with an optional wireless LAN. Custom extensions are also possible via a Mini PCI Express slot.
