Lumex Sunbrite Group's LED solutions are replacing conventional incandescent or fluorescent lamps. These devices are suitable for signage, traffic control, automotive and off-road vehicle lighting and general lighting.

Outdoor lighting is based on chip chemistries and Lumex's polyLEDs - multichip units with discrete chips in dome lenses.

For general lighting, there is a range of multichip lamps and square dot matrix lamps. Units include three to 24 LEDs, with intensities up to 5000 mcd per LED chip. Filament lamp replacement units are available in a variety of industry-standard base configurations, with operating voltages from 6 to 110 V.

The lamps provide output intensities up to 55,000 mcd per unit. For outdoor signage, users can choose from discrete surface mount technology (SMT) LEDs, leaded LEDs, shrouded LED clusters, and Strip LEDs which make possible the channel lighting of letters and numbers. The SMT LED chips offer intensities up to 900 mcd, with the shrouded LED clusters delivering 20,000 mcd.
