Z-Communications has announced an RoHS-compliant VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) model CRO1220A-LF L-band. The device operates at 1220 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5 DC, has a typical phase noise of -118 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 2 MHz/V.
It is designed to deliver a typical output of 3 dBm at 5 VDC while drawing 18 mA (typical) over the temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -24 dBc. It is available and in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
