Macom Technology Solutions has released the MAAP-011106 four-stage, 71-86 GHz, bare die power amplifier. It is designed for use as a power amplifier stage in transmit chains and is suited for E-band small-cell wireless backhaul infrastructure and point-to-point radio applications.
The product provides 25 dBm saturated output power and 20 dB small signal gain. The input and output are matched to 50 Ω with bond wires to the external board.
Additional features include: 30 dBm OIP3; 23 dBm P1dB; variable gain with adjustable bias; 4 V @ 720 mA bias power; integrated detector; HBM ESD rating of 100 V; 3.78 x 2.5 mm die size.
