Offering high-speed data transfer (downlink: 7.2 Mbps/uplink: 2 Mbps) with a Telstra-approved module inside (Sierra Wireless Q26Ex), the modem can be used with the following add-on boards: analog input/pulse counting - for industrial monitoring/control; GPS - simple-to-use GPS solution; Coronis Wavenis - wireless connectivity with Wavenis end points; digital I/O - supports standard industry protocols including Modbus RT, DNP 3.0; ethernet - transforms the modem into a TCP/IP gateway.
Softool enables software customisation by providing an interface for the modem and allowing choice of preferred configuration for quick integration into applications.
