Maestro Wireless Solutions’ Heritage industrial-grade modem with expansion boards is suitable for M2M applications. It offers GSM/GPRS/EDGE technologies and customisable hardware and software.

The modem is available with boards for specific applications. The GPS board has GPS and (A-GPS) mode and 8-channel tracking and the I/O board has 6+6 digital inputs/outputs, supports standard industry protocols such as Modbus RTU or DNP 3.0 protocol and is compatible with most SCADA server software or human machine interfaces that support these protocols. The ethernet board has two digital inputs/outputs and transforms the modem into a GSM/GPRS ethernet gateway. The Bluetooth board has transparent RS232 over Bluetooth transmission, and the Wavenis board has RF wireless connectivity and is specifically designed for Wavenis sensor monitoring and control. The analog board has 4 x 4-20 mA analog inputs, four pulse counters and four digital outputs, and is designed for monitoring and control with integrated data logging to a service platform.
