Marine panel PC
Interworld has released the APC-3931 fanless marine panel PC. The APC-3931 features an aluminium (10 mm) bezel and stainless steel housing with an anti-corrosive marine coating.
The device is an Intel Celeron M 1.6 GHz PC and 19" high brightness 300 cd/m2 TFT LCD housed in a slim enclosure. The PC supports 1 GB of 200/266/333 MHz DDR SDRAM, an internal 2.5" hard drive and optional rear-mounted CD-ROM drive.
The LCD provides a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and can be fitted with an optional analog resistive touch screen.
Rear panel I/O connectors include 2x COM ports, 4x USB 2.0 ports, 1x 10/100 Mbps LAN, 1x external VGA, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and audio line in/output/microphone.
The device is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C with a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 90% at 40 °C.
The PC can be 19" rack mounted and it also provides standard VESA 75 mounting holes and can be supported on a range of commercially available arms and brackets.
Consumption is 120 W and it requires 240 VAC.
Its anti-corrosive coating makes it suitable for marine use.
