Microchip Technology LAN935x 10/100 Managed Ethernet Switches are full-featured, 2- or 3-port switches designed for embedded applications. The products provide performance, flexibility, ease of integration and system cost control.
The switches combine a 10/100 switch system, including the switch fabric, packet buffers, buffer manager, media access controllers (MACs), PHY transceivers and serial management. They support IEEE 1588v2 with an integrated IEEE 1588v2 hardware time stamp unit. They also support end-to-end and peer-to-peer transparent clocks.
