Mornsun has released details of its K78 series switching regulator with the 1.5 and 2 A high-current output K78XX-1500 and K78XX-2000 series.
The devices are compatible with LM78XX Linear regulator and have the same dimension as the Mornsun 1A product K78XX-1000, a package with 9° bent pins is also available for flush mounting.
The series can be used as positive and negative regulators and has output voltages of 2.5, 3.3, 5 and 6.5 DC in both positive or negative, with an efficiency of up to 93%.
The series offers wide input voltage, wide temperature range, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown.
