Mornsun K78UXX-500 series switching regulators
Mornsun has released the K78UXX-500 series - an ultra-wide 8:1 (9.0 V-72.0 VDC) input non-isolated switching regulator. It features low power consumption, low ripple and high efficiency but is fully pin-to-pin compatible with the LM78xx 3-pin regulators and LDO regulator types.
It provides for an ultra-wide input voltage range, good reliability and high performance. The device has a high degree of safety with short circuit and thermal protection and is compatible with all kinds of three terminal regulators and LDO non-isolated regulators.
This series has efficiencies up to 95%, ultra-wide input voltage range up to 8:1 and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, making it suitable for use in most extreme temperature conditions and no need of a heat sink.
