Murata WSM-BL241 nRF52-based Bluetooth 5 module
The Murata WSM-BL241 module leverages the powerful Nordic nRF52832 system-on-chip (SoC) to provide high-performance Bluetooth low energy connectivity between smartphones, tablets and other devices. The low-power nRF52832 SoC combines a built-in Arm Cortex-M4 core, 512 KB of flash and 64 KB of RAM with a 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio.
The module offers ultralow-power Bluetooth 5 functionality in a small package, making it suitable for Internet of Things (IoT), asset-tracking, beacon and medical applications. It includes a 32 MHz crystal, an onboard antenna and two pins for an NFC antenna and external omnidirectional antenna — all in a form factor of 7.4 x 7.0 x 1 mm. It is supported by the MBN52832 development kit, which facilitates application development using the Nordic nRF52 software development kit (SDK).
