NTF series DC/DC converters

NTF series 1 W surface-mount isolated DC/DC converters from Murata are integrated, IC-style true surface-mount packages. The wide input range devices are suitable for battery-powered products plus a wide range of other applications, especially those where high volume is expected.

Comprising nine models with efficiency levels up to 70%, the series is available with a choice of three wide range input voltages of 4-6, 9-15 (nominally 12) and 18-36 (nominally 24). Tightly regulated output voltages of 5, 12 or 15 are offered. All devices provide 1 kVDC isolation and include a voltage trim feature.

The series uses leadframe technology and transfer moulding to bring all the benefits of IC packaging to hybrid circuitry. Co-planarity of the lead positions is based on IEC 191-6:1990 and package materials are UL 94 V-0 rated.
