Omron Automation and Safety has available a range of safety products, including an interlock switch, a limit switch, a light curtain, a relay and related components, to empower technicians to operate with greater productivity and efficiency.

The company’s Safety Interlock Switch, designed to endure 1 million actuations, is a tamper-resistant safety switch. It is suitable for smaller machines and space restrictions, with a rotatable head and eight possible actuator entry points for flexible and easy installation.

The Safety Limit Switch features standardised gold-clad contacts, providing high contact reliability. Its Safety-oriented Lever Setting (form-lock construction) utilises grooves cut into the lever and rotary shaft to prevent slipping.

The Safety Light Curtain includes built-in muting and banking with warning zone alerts. The rugged, IP67 rated enclosure has a slim, space-saving profile and resists washdown.

The Safety Relay, suitable for use in safety circuits within production machinery, has a slim design with forcibly guided contacts. It is available in 4- and 6-pole models.

The Emergency Stop Switch includes a direct opening mechanism to open contacts in emergencies, a safety lock to prevent misuse and separate construction that allows the switch to be separated for easier wiring and one-piece construction.
