OVEN Industries 5R9-350 temperature controller

OVEN Industries offers the 5R9-350, a field-configurable temperature controller. The open-board temperature controller is designed with a proportional integral control algorithm to provide precise control to thermoelectric (Peltier effect) modules.

The controller can be set up for heat or cool and can run a ramp and soak profile. Pulse width modulation controls the power level in the thermoelectric module at a base frequency of 2.5 KHz and the output stage is high resolution.

Other features include: input voltage of 7 to 36 VDC; output voltage of 0 to 36 VDC; load current of 0.1 to 15 A per channel (total current 18 A max); and temperature resolution of 0.01°C.

Set-up and monitor control is enabled through the included GUI and DLL. TTL to USB communication is possible via the optional OI-TTL-Cable.
