Peregrine SPST and SP4T tuning control switches

Wednesday, 14 January, 2015 | Supplied by: Wireless Components

The PE613010 and PE613050 are the first two devices in a family of tuning control switches based on Peregrine Semiconductor’s UltraCMOS technology, a variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate, offering good RF performance. The switches are versatile and support a variety of tuning circuit topologies, with emphasis on impedance-matching and aperture-tuning applications.

Both switches feature low on-resistance and insertion loss across key cellular frequency bands from 100 to 3000 MHz. They offer high RF power handling and ruggedness, and Peregrine’s HaRP technology enables them to meet challenging harmonic and linearity requirements. All decoding and biasing is integrated on-chip and no external bypassing or filtering components are required.

UltraCMOS tuning devices feature ease of use while delivering good RF performance. With built-in bias voltage generation and ESD protection, tuning control switches provide a monolithically integrated tuning solution for demanding RF applications.
