Phihong ACCY125X-R wireless power dongle for Cisco AP1250
Phihong has developed a splitter that enables powering of a Cisco AP1250 wireless access point using the company’s IEEE802.3at-compliant enterprise-class multiport midspans.
Designated the ACCY125X-R, the dongle works as a traditional splitter by taking IEEE802.3at PoE and splitting off the data via ethernet cable while continuing the 56 V power feed through a DC cable.
Midspans that are now compatible with the ACCY125X-R dongle include the POE576U-8AT, POE576U-16AT and POE576U-24AFAT (including ‘N’ models featuring SNMP). Single port IEEE802.3at-compatible midspans and the POE125-4AT small footprint multiport midspan do not require the dongle to operate with the Cisco AP1250.
