Phoenix Contact Factory Line smart managed switches
The Factory Line smart managed switches from Phoenix Contact are designed for Profinet and EtherNet/IP applications and offer up to 16 ports. The switches come in a 16-port twisted-pair-only version or with 14 twisted pairs and two 100-Base FX fibre-optic ports.
The fibre-optic model is available in a multimode and a singlemode version. Owing to their extended operating temperature range from -40 to 70°C, the 16-port devices are particularly suitable for use in rough industrial environments.
The switches’ compact dimensions make it possible to deploy them locally in flat housings. As Profinet IO devices, they are configured via the controller and offer a multicaster function optimised for EtherNet/IP. A convenient smart button allows users to select Profinet or EtherNet/IP mode during installation. The RSTP, MRP and Fast Ring Detection protocols support the set-up of universal, redundant network structures, optionally with short switchover times. The replaceable configuration plug makes it easy to exchange devices.
