The QPQ1298, from Qorvo, is a bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filter designed for sub-band n41 uplink and downlink in base station infrastructure, small cell and repeater applications. The high-performance, BAW 5G filter features low insertion loss and high attenuation, vital for coexistence of 5G cellular bands and Wi-Fi operation in high-data-capacity rural, suburban and dense urban areas.
The product offers single-input and single-output operation in the 160 MHz bandwidth, with frequency ranges from 2515 to 2675 MHz, to address n41 design challenges with bandwidth and Wi-Fi rejection, with no external matching required. Its three-pin, 2 x 1.6 x 0.73 mm SMT package also provides engineers with a small form factor to simplify assembly.
