Vishay has released the EKX series of radial aluminium capacitors offering operation to +105 °C in 14 case sizes, ranging from 5 by 11 mm to 18 by 40 mm.
The capacitors offer low impedance, which is specified as low as 14 mΩ at 100 kHz, a high rated ripple current of 3800 mA at 105 °C and a capacitance range from 0.47 to 15,000 µF over a voltage range of 6.3 to 100.
With lifetimes up to 5000 h, the series is RoHS compliant with a self-healing electrolyte.
