Recovery diodes

Thursday, 05 June, 2003 | Supplied by: International Rectifier

International Rectifier has introduced a family of standard-recovery diodes in a stud-mount DO-5 plastic-cap case.

The move to a DO-5 improves surge current capability by up to 40%.

Typical applications include battery chargers, power supplies, welding machines, alternators, generators and machine tool controls.

The diodes are drop-in replacements for many standard devices. The 50PF, 80PF and 95PF diodes replaces IR's 40HF, 70HF and 85HF series and are available in anode-to-stud and cathode-to-stud versions, as well as leaded and wire termination versions.
