Rubycon XW series aluminium electrolytic capacitors
The Rubycon XW series ‘pencil type’ radial aluminium electrolytic capacitors are used in a wide variety of power and lighting applications for input/output filtering.
The devices are designed for long-life operation of around 10,000 h at 105°C for 8 mm diameters and higher. They are suitable for horizontal mounting, making them useful for thin-profile applications such as straight-tube LED designs.
The technology was originally developed for the digital camera market.
