The Schaffner FN 3268 EMC filters are suitable for variable speed drive installations, such as those found in process automation, HVAC, conveyors and machine tools, including CNC and woodworking equipment.
The filters are designed for use at the input side of the variable speed drive and are interposed between the residual current device and the converter-DC link-inverter assembly.
They provide high attenuation of RFI and low leakage current to prevent false tripping of RCDs. The filters are suitable for phase-to-neutral voltages of up to 300 and line voltages to 520. Current ratings available range from 7 (4 kW) to 180 A (110 kW).
