Mean Well has introduced the SD-500 series (500 W) enclosed type DC/DC converter.
The product range consists of nine families and 78 models.
Featuring 4:1~2:1 wide DC input range and 2000 VAC input/output isolation, the series has two DC input levels — 19~72 V(L type), 72~144 V(H type) and three kinds of DC output level — 12, 24, 48 V.
With built-in short-circuit, overload, overvoltage, overtemperature and input polarity protections, the converters are suitable for general electrical engineering and battery back-up applications with space constraints.
