Interworld Electronics can add multiple high-speed serial ports to any PC, Server, Thin Client, Laptop, PDA or Embedded System.

The range includes high-speed RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial products for both asynchronous and synchronous communications. Add-in cards are available for ISA, PCI, Universal PCI, PC/104 and PCI/104 buses.

External connectivity solutions such as USB, PCMCIA and Compact Flash are ideal for adding serial ports to Laptops and PDAs whilst Ethernet Serial Device Servers allow legacy serial equipment to be virtualised and networked providing remote access to the devices from anywhere via LAN or WAN infrastructure.

Some of our specialised communications products include intelligent multi-port cards with up to 32 ports, low profile Universal PCI boards compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V 32/64 bit slots, PCMCIA cards compatible with legacy DOS software applications and Ethernet Serial Device Servers with extremely low network latency.

Interworld Electronics also supplies a wide range of inline RS-232 to RS-422/485 serial converters and optical isolators.
