Procera Networks has announced PL10000, the latest in the PacketLogic family of products.
With up to 80 Gbps of throughput, the device is purpose-built with Tier-1 broadband network deployments — both wired and wireless — in mind.
With its introduction, service providers now have a platform that will support millions of subscribers while giving them the business intelligence, service creation, network visibility and control.
The device was designed as a carrier-grade platform to give service providers the scalability, reliability and flexibility they need to meet network requirements for today and tomorrow. It has four times the capacity of its other platform, enabling a single deployment to handle millions of broadband service subscribers.
This increased capacity, in conjunction with pertinent asymmetric traffic support and reliability, enables deployment anywhere in the network.
Incorporating DRDL, the company’s traffic identification engine, it also has a host of features for accuracy.
In addition to its enhanced accuracy and performance, PacketLogic PL10000 is supplied with version 12 firmware that delivers all the functionality of previous versions while adding new features unique to the platform.
