Sintrones VDM-700HD 720P high-resolution in-vehicle monitor

Backplane Systems Technology presents Sintrones’ VDM-700HD, a touch monitor with a wide power input voltage range and operating temperature dedicated to in-vehicle computing. The device is an operating terminal for fleet management and intelligent cockpit applications on commercial vehicles.

The product has a panel resolution of 1280 x 720 and a typical brightness of 560 nits. Sintrones’ proprietary cable design, which delivers video, audio, touch signal and power in one cable connection, facilitates deployment and installation. Furthermore, to aid user experience, the product has a projected capacitive multi-touch screen, to make it easier for the user to work with the device in rugged settings.

The front of the device is IP65 rated making it dustproof and protected from splashes and low-pressure jets. This allows the VDM-700HD to be efficient and apt for in-vehicle applications, which are inherently exposed to tough conditions.

Key features include 1280 (H) × 720 (V) high resolution, secondary video input (HDMI), 9–48 VDC power input and an operating temperature of -20 to +60°C. It also meets Vehicle Regulation E13.
