Gowanda Electronics has introduced two new surface mount toroid inductor series - SMT4015 and SMT1803.
The SMT4015 is a shielded toroidal choke designed for higher current handling capability in conjunction with improved electromagnetic interference performance.
The SMT1803 is a low profile surface mount toroid which offers a high current to power size ratio.
Both devices can be used for a variety of power applications. The SMT4015 is specifically targeted for use in power applications where higher currents are required, such as filters for DC/DC converters and switching regulated power supplies.
The SMT1803 is targeted for use in size-sensitive applications where less power is required but small size is mandatory.
