The IMI sensors division of PCB Piezotronics has introduced the model 685A01, 24 VDC powered, electronic vibration switch with explosion-proof housing.
The switch provides early warning of machine deterioration and will shut the machine down when the trip level is exceeded.
Features include Form C (SPDT) relay, adjustable trip point, local and remote reset, and continuous or latch relay operation. Operating range is 0 to 10 g from 10 to 1000 Hz. This is suitable for predictive maintenance on pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, as well as any other rotating equipment.
