Würth Elektronik WE-PD 1260 P storage choke
Würth Elektronik’s WE-PD family of magnetically shielded, SMT-mountable storage chokes are suitable for integrated DC/DC converters and switching controllers with output powers from 0.01 to 300 W. The inductors help to raise the efficiency of switching controllers to over 95%.
Whereas the ‘Standard’ (S) and ‘Robust’ (R) series have a NiZn core, the ‘Performance’ (P) variant with an MnZn core attains a higher ferrite-based saturation current for the same component size. The operating temperature range is wider too: -40 to +150°C.
Characterised by a low RDC, the storage choke is suitable for switching frequencies up to 5 MHz and is AEC-Q-200 qualified. Depending on the required inductance value, the WE-PD 1260 P is available in 18 variants of the E6 series from 1.5 to 1000 µH.
