Diodes has further extended its Zetex LED driver series with the introduction of three miniature LED drivers offering improved accuracy and thermal performance.
Provided in TSOT23-5 and thermally enhanced DFN6, the ZXLD-1352, -1356 and -1366 deliver adjustable output currents of 350, 550 mA and 1 A and suit a broad range of motor vehicle, architectural and industrial lighting applications.
With an output current accuracy of typically better than 1%, the ZXLD1356 and ZXLD1366 provide users with accurate current matching at working voltages up to 60.
Capable of producing output powers of 30 and 48 W, these TSOT23-5 and 3 x 3 mm DFN6 packaged drivers will support up to 15 LEDs.
Operating from a 7 to 30 V supply and capable of producing an output current of up to 350 mA, the 2.8 x 2.9 mm TSOT23-5 packaged ZXLD1352 can provide up to 8 W for driving chains of up to 10 LEDs.
With a large PWM dimming ratio of 1000:1, the driver offers highly flexible brightness control and accurate colour mixing.
Continuous mode inductive step-down converters, specifically designed for driven single or multiple high brightness LEDs, the ZLD drivers are characterised by their ease of configuration and operation.
Nominal output current set by a resistor is adjusted by applying a PWM or DC voltage control signal to precisely match brightness requirements. A low level control signal turns the output off and puts the driver into standby.
The drivers need the support of three discrete external components.
