Company targets strong growth in optical sensing markets

Redfern Integrated Optics has secured an additional $7.5 million in funding which will help the company target growth in optical sensing markets. Led by Southern Cross Venture Partners, the round also included Tallwood Venture Capital and Jolimont Capital as investors.

Interworld Electronics has released a new range of sunlight readable monitors. The AP-LDLD series panel-mount industrial LCD monitors are ideal for applications where the monitor is exposed to direct sunlight. They exhibit wide viewing angles of typically 140°/120°, fast response times, high contrast ratios up to 400:1 and an extremely high brightness with a luminance up to1600 nits. Six models are available with 10.4" 800 x 600, 12.1" and 15" 1024 x 768, 17" 1280 x 1024, 20" 800 x 600 and 32" 1366 x 768 TFT screens.
