Components firms merge
Arrow Asia Pacific has acquired the component distribution business of Connektron.
Privately owned, Connektron is a passive, electromechanical and connector distributor in Australia and New Zealand.
The acquisition creates opportunities for Arrow in Australia and New Zealand. It complements the company's strategy of increasing business in ANZ and will strengthen Arrow's competitive advantage in this market.
Arrow gains an expanded customer base and additional strategic product lines for Arrow to further expand market share in ANZ.
Connektron's customers and suppliers gain instant access to Arrow's specialised expertise, technical resources, supply chain solutions and logistics capabilities.
There will be no change to the local structure of Arrow. Some Connektron staff will be transferred to Arrow Australia and assigned new positions.
