Harting names 'Global catalogue distributor of the year'
RS Components has been awarded the "Global catalogue distributor of the year' award by Harting Technology Group for the third consecutive year.
This award recognises RS's achievements in sales results for Harting connectors and its focused approach to making the products accessible to users worldwide through the RS Catalogue and RS Online.
This follows on from RS's achievement in winning the Environmental award at the Elektra 2006 European Electronics Industry Awards.
RS Components is a global catalogue distributor of electronic, electrical, electromechanical and industrial supplies in Australia.
The company's range of electronic products includes cables, capacitors, power supplies, relays, semiconductors, sensors and transformers from brand names including Microchip, Vishay, Panasonic, Molex, Belden, International Rectifier, Bulgin and HellermannTyton.
RS launched its Australasian websites www.rsaustralia.com and www.rsnewzealand.com in May 2000.
