RS Components has launched its Online Trading Platform localised for Australia and New Zealand. The Internet Trading Channel (ITC) is now live in Australia http://www.rsaustralia.com/ and New Zealand http://www.rsnewzealand.com/
The Internet trading team responsible for the Australasian region is based in Singapore. Because of the centrally managed, modular way the sites have been designed by the global ecommerce team, each looks and navigates in the same way for consistency of branding and customer interface but on closer examination, the language, currency and product range is specific to each country.
The ITC was designed to deliver ordering efficiencies to RS customers buying from a range of products including electrical, electronic, industrial and test and measurement products.
