Soanar to distribute ZMD AG in ANZ

Tuesday, 13 March, 2007

Soanar announced last week that it has been appointed distributor and technical representative for German-based ZMD AG in Australia and New Zealand.

"This is a great opportunity for ZMD to work with a specialist distributor covering our markets of interest in the Pacific Region," director of sales worldwide for ZMD AG, Richard Gibbs said.

Further complementing the partnership is Soanar's team of field active product specialists and application engineers, who offer design-in and technical support.

"Partnering with an innovative manufacturer such as ZMD certainly enhances our semiconductor offer to our customers," Soanar CEO, Neil Walker said.

"Furthermore, ZMD's range of mixed analog-digital, application-specific circuits (ASICs) and application specific standard products (ASSPs) are well matched with other manufacturers already represented by Soanar, such as Linear Technology and NEC."
