Interworld Electronics has released a new range of sunlight readable monitors. The AP-LDLD series panel-mount industrial LCD monitors are ideal for applications where the monitor is exposed to direct sunlight. They exhibit wide viewing angles of typically 140°/120°, fast response times, high contrast ratios up to 400:1 and an extremely high brightness with a luminance up to1600 nits. Six models are available with 10.4" 800 x 600, 12.1" and 15" 1024 x 768, 17" 1280 x 1024, 20" 800 x 600 and 32" 1366 x 768 TFT screens.

Ntera and Seiko Epson have successfully produced working prototypes featuring the world’s highest resolution naturally reflective electronic displays using Ntera’s visualDNA brand electrochromic display technology.
