The Simatic CPU 317TF-2DP controller enables motion control, safety and standard tasks in one device. It uses PLCopen-compatible motion control blocks. It is suitable for applications from controlled single-axis positioning to complex, synchronised sequences of motion, eg, geared synchronous motion, curve synchronisation or print mark correction.

Linear Technology has announced the H- and MP-grade versions of the LT3757 and LT3758 wide input range DC/DC controllers for boost, flyback, SEPIC and inverting power supply applications. They are capable of generating either a positive or negative regulated output voltage with a single device by having two internal voltage feedback error amplifiers and reference voltages, and have operating junction temperature ranges from -40 to 150°C and -55 to 125°C.
